Parking
Free private parking is available right at the property. The parking area is secure, but please note it is slightly steep (typical of the clifftop location). It is easily accessible with normal care.
Access to the Property
The villa sits in a private, secluded spot overlooking the Cretan Sea. The final approach from the main road is a bit steep and winding — typical of Cretan countryside roads. It’s perfectly drivable with normal care, but if you prefer, we can meet you and guide you in.
Check-in / Check-out
Check-in from 15:00 | Check-out by 10:00. We’re happy to arrange early check-in or late check-out whenever possible, depending on availability, to keep your arrival and departure as peaceful as the house itself.
Pool
A small infinity pool with fresh water sits at garden level, surrounded by olive trees and beautiful sea views. The pool can be heated upon request for an indicative fee of approximately €100 per week. Please note that as an outdoor pool, the water temperature is naturally affected by the weather.
Kitchen
The fully equipped kitchen offers everything you need for relaxed self-catering. Espresso machines are available in both the main kitchen and the upstairs coffee corner. We provide complimentary bottled water (tap water is not recommended for drinking). As a traditional Cretan family, we produce our own organic olive oil — a bottle is always available for your use.
WiFi & Connectivity
Complimentary high-speed WiFi is available throughout the villa and outdoor areas. The connection is reliable for browsing or remote working. Occasional fluctuations can happen in this remote clifftop location, but any issues are resolved quickly.
Access to the Beach
A scenic path lined with local plants and trees leads down the cliff to our small private beach area. The downhill walk is gently steep in parts (with natural stone steps at the end) but takes just a few minutes. You’ll find a wooden deck, sunbeds, and direct access to the crystal-clear sea. A Stand Up Paddle board (SUP) is available after signing a simple consent form.
Supermarkets and Essentials
The nearest supermarket is about 8–10 km away in Gazi (roughly 15 minutes by car). We can send a list of local shops or arrange a welcome grocery delivery before you arrive.
Concierge Services
Our concierge support is thoughtful and low-key. We can assist with airport transfers, restaurant reservations, taxi arrangements, or any practical needs. We also offer special experiences such as catamaran trips, mountain excursions, private dining, and private yoga sessions. A detailed guide is shared before your arrival.
Local Recommendations
We share curated suggestions for hidden beaches, authentic tavernas, peaceful mountain villages, and gentle nature walks — all tailored to help you enjoy the island at your own relaxed pace.
Housekeeping & Linen
Mid-stay cleaning and towel/linen changes are included for bookings of 7 nights or more (or upon request). Daily housekeeping can be arranged for an additional fee.
Laundry
A dedicated laundry room is available for your convenience, equipped with a washing machine, dryer, ironing board, iron, and drying racks. Feel free to use it anytime so you can travel light and keep things simple and fresh.
Air Conditioning & Heating
Air conditioning is available in all bedrooms and the living area. Heating is provided for cooler evenings. We kindly ask you to use it mindfully — mainly keeping it off or at a moderate temperature when you are away from the house. This small practice supports our sustainability efforts and helps preserve the natural beauty of Crete for future guests.
TVs & Entertainment
Each bedroom has a small smart TV. In the living area, a projector is available so you can connect your own device for movies or relaxing evenings.
Safety & Security
The property offers secure private parking and gated access. We recommend supervising children near the pool and beach path at all times.
Yoga Space
The bright living area with panoramic sea views easily transforms into a serene yoga shala. Yoga mats are provided, and the space is filled with natural light and calm energy. The wooden deck by the sea is also wonderful for outdoor practice or meditation, especially at sunrise.
Beach Towels
A set of our signature Zen House eco-friendly beach towels is provided in each bedroom. Made from recycled plastic bottles, they are highly absorbent, quick-drying, and gentle on the environment. If you fall in love with them (or any of our other eco Zen House accessories), new sets are available for purchase so you can take a piece of Crete’s serenity home as a memento.
